Medicinal and Native Plant Walk

Service Description

On this spring saunter in a local San Francisco park, meet your green neighbors and learn about their traditional and modern medicinal uses. Plant identification walks are a powerful experience to transform the "green" of your local park into unique individual species. We will focus on plant in flower and in full spring swing! You are welcome to ask questions and share your knowledge of local flora as well. Join us for one, two or three of the walks, as we will focus on different plants each time. Sunday March 30: McLaren Park, 1-3pm *Meet at the intersection of Brazil and LaGrande Streets in the Excelsior Neighborhood* Sunday April 13: Glen Canyon Park, 10am-12pm *Meet at Elk Street Entrance, near the first bench in Glen Park Neighborhood* Saturday April 19: St. Mary's Park, 11am - 1pm *Meet at Murray St at Justin Drive, near St. Mary's Park in St. Mary's Park Neighborhood*
